AI School › AI for studying · Lesson 48 of 130
You can ask the same thing a thousand times and the AI never gets tired or annoyed.
Sometimes we don't understand something and we're afraid to ask again, because we fear looking slow or being a nuisance. With AI that fear isn't needed: it's like an endlessly patient tutor that doesn't huff, laugh or lose its calm. You can ask "I didn't get it, can you re-explain it more slowly?" ten times in a row, and each time it will try again in a new way. This patience is precious, because learning without the fear of making mistakes is much easier: the mind stays relaxed and open.
How do you make the most of this tutor? Be honest about what you don't understand: the more you tell it, the better it helps. Try phrases like "you're going too fast", "I don't know that word", "give me an example closer to my life". You can also ask it to check whether you've understood by asking you a question. But remember that the best tutor in the world doesn't study for you: it walks beside you, but you take the steps. A patient AI is a huge stroke of luck, especially when the teacher has many pupils and can't stop just for you every time.
Pick a concept that isn't clear and ask the AI to re-explain it in three different ways, without embarrassment, until it clicks.
