🤲 Using AI in a fair and just way

The same tool can help everyone or favour a few: it depends on how we use it.

AI can be a ladder that helps everyone climb, or a wall that leaves someone behind. It depends on how we use it. It is fair to use it to understand a hard topic better, to get ideas, to practise. It is unfair to use it to copy and take credit that is not yours, or to build an advantage others cannot have. Fairness means the rules apply to everyone the same way: if AI is banned in a test, using it secretly is not clever, it is cheating on classmates who worked honestly.

There is also a bigger fairness, about the world. Not everyone has the same access to AI: those with fast internet and modern tools start ahead of those without. A good digital citizen notices this and does not take advantage: they help those left behind instead of widening the gap. Always ask yourself: «Does the way I use AI make things fairer or more unfair for others?». If your choice also helps those who have less, you are on the right path. The smartest AI in the world is worth nothing if we use it to be unfair.
