🤝 AI as a colleague, not a replacement

The best future is humans and AI working as a team.

There is a scary wrong idea: "either the human or the machine". In truth the most beautiful future is "the human with the machine". Think of a team: the champion and their coach, the surgeon and their tools. AI can become a tireless colleague that does the maths in a flash, remembers everything and never gets tired. You keep the important decisions, the ideas and the responsibility. Together, often, you do better than each would alone.

In chess a curious thing was seen: teams made of good people helped by AI beat both the human champions alone and the AIs alone. One plus one made more than two. It works the same way at work: the secret is not to compete against AI, but to learn to team up with it, each giving what they do best. Those who see AI as a deskmate, and not a rival, have already understood how to win in the future.

🎒 Try it in class (or at home)

Make a drawing as a pair with an AI: one thinks up the idea, the other asks the AI to help with a detail. Who did what? Notice how the team achieves more.
