AI School › AI, work and future · Lesson 87 of 130
AI is a new brush, but the idea and the taste stay yours.
Musicians, illustrators, writers and directors are discovering in AI a surprising tool: it can sketch a melody, generate a thousand variations of a drawing, suggest an idea for a story. It is like having a magic brush that tries many paths in an instant. But a brush, however magic, does not decide what to paint: it is the artist who chooses, who feels what is beautiful, who puts their own life and emotions into the work.
AI can copy styles that already exist, because it has studied the works of the past, but it struggles to invent something truly new, because that leap is born from human courage and experience. That is why the best artists are not afraid of AI: they use it as a fast collaborator, then they add the spark that only they have. Art is not just technique: it is having something to say. And that, for now and for a long time, stays a wholly human gift.
Pick a theme (freedom, a storm) and create something: a drawing, a rhyme, a tune. Ask yourselves: what did I want to say that is mine? That intention is your artist's spark.
