✨ Copying or creating?

Creating is adding something of yours; copying is just pasting.

Imagine two kids at school. The first copies a classmate's report word for word and hands it in: they learned nothing, and if you ask a question they fall silent. The second reads the same report, understands it, adds their own example, rewrites the sentences in their own words and includes their opinion. Only the second truly created. The same happens with AI: you can take its answer and paste it as is, or use it as a starting point, add your ideas, fix what does not convince you, and make it yours.

The difference is not how much work you do, but how much of you is inside it. A small personal touch turns a copy into a creation: your experience, your question, your way of seeing things. Copying without thinking is also risky, because AI sometimes makes mistakes, and the copier does not notice. The creator, instead, checks, doubts, improves. Next time you use AI, ask yourself: "what did I add of my own?" If the answer is "nothing," you only copied. If it is "many things," congratulations, you are a real creator.
