🖌️ AI is a tool, not the author

Like a brush, AI paints only when someone guides it.

A brush has never painted a picture by itself. Even the finest brush in the world, left on the table, stays there motionless: it needs a hand to dip it in color and decide where to stroke. AI is like that brush, only much cleverer. It can offer you a thousand images, stories and melodies, but it all starts from your request and gains meaning only through your choices. Without someone deciding what to ask, what to keep and what to throw away, AI would produce just a pile of random things, aimless and heartless.

This changes how you should feel when you create with AI. The credit is not "the computer's": it is yours, because you had the idea, chose the direction, and stopped when it looked right. Just as a photographer does not say "the camera took the photo," you can proudly say "I created this, using AI as a tool." Remembering this keeps you from getting lazy: if you let the machine decide everything, the result will not speak about you. But if you guide it, you remain the artist, and it is just your best tool.
