🔬 Doing research with AI

AI is a good starting point for research, but you check and cite the real sources yourself.

When you set off on a trip, you first look at the map to get an idea, then you actually walk the roads. Research works the same: AI gives you the map, that is a general idea of the topic, the keywords, the points to dig into. It's perfect to start when you don't know where to begin. You ask "give me an outline of the main points on volcanoes for a science project" and in a moment you have the structure. But the map isn't the journey: the real information you must search and check yourself.

Why? Because AI sometimes invents details, and research done only with AI risks having hidden errors. The right method has two stages: first you use AI to understand what to talk about and organise ideas, then you go to safe sources, the book, an encyclopedia, a museum or school website, to verify and find the exact data. And you write in your own words, not copying: a copied project isn't yours. AI is your compass at the start, but the discovery and the effort of understanding stay the heart of your work.
