💬 Drawing comics with AI

AI fills the panels, but the plot and dialogue are yours.

A comic is a story made of boxes, called panels, holding drawings and speech bubbles. AI can help you two ways: drawing the characters and scenes you describe, and suggesting funny dialogue for the bubbles. If you say "a turtle superhero rescuing a kitten from a tree," it prepares the image; if you ask "what could the turtle say while climbing?", it offers jokes. It is like having both an illustrator and a scriptwriter sitting beside you, ready to sketch ideas in an instant.

The secret of a good comic, though, is not perfect drawing: it is timing. You decide which moments to show, when to add a comic pause, when to leave a silent panel to build suspense. The AI cannot make these choices for you, because they depend on what you want the reader to feel. Use the AI to beat the fear of the blank page and to try many ideas fast, then cut, move and rewrite until the story flows the way you like. The director of the panels is always you.
