🎨 Painting with words

AI turns a sentence into a picture.

Imagine having a super-fast painter friend who speaks no language except your descriptions. If you say "an orange cat wearing a wizard hat flying over a city at night," they grab their brushes and try to paint exactly that. Image-making AI works this way: you write in words what is in your head, and it builds a drawing pixel by pixel. It never saw that exact cat, but it has seen millions of cats, hats and cities, and it uses that memory to invent something new that matches your request.

The more precise you are, the better the picture turns out. If you write only "dog" you get any dog; if you write "a beagle puppy sleeping on a red blanket at sunset" you get something much closer to your idea. It is like ordering pizza: say "a pizza" and it is a surprise, list the toppings and you choose. The words that describe a picture are called a prompt, meaning a "hint." Changing even one word can change the whole drawing, and that is exactly where the fun of experimenting begins.
