AI School › AI for studying · Lesson 50 of 130
AI is a formidable helper, but the one who learns, thinks and grows is always you.
A bicycle takes you far and fast, but you're the one pedalling and choosing the road: without your legs and your head, the bike stays still. AI is like that bicycle for studying: it helps you explain, summarise, revise, organise. But it mustn't pedal for you. If you make it do everything and switch off your brain, you learn nothing and stay put, even if it feels like you're flying. The secret is keeping your mind always switched on: using AI to understand better, never to avoid thinking.
How do you do it in practice? Try on your own first, then ask for help: the initial effort is exactly what makes your brain grow, like muscles at the gym. Never copy without understanding: if you couldn't explain it to a friend, you haven't learned it. Check, doubt, ask questions, rewrite in your own words. And remember something wonderful: AI has read many books, but it doesn't have your curiosity, your imagination, your wish to understand the world. Those are yours and no one can give them to you. Use AI as an ally, but stay the captain of your own mind.
After studying with AI, close everything and try to explain the topic aloud to a friend or the mirror, without looking: can you do it?
