🔑 Passwords strong as a fortress

A password is your house key: long, secret, and different for each door.

A password is like the key to your room of secrets: it opens the door to your games, your messages, your photos. If someone steals it, they can get in and cause harm by pretending to be you. Today there are programs, some helped by AI, that try millions of passwords a second to guess them. That is why very simple passwords, like '123456' or your name, fall in an instant. You do not need to be scared: you just need to build better keys. A good password is like a fortress with high walls: easy for you to remember, but very hard for others to break.

The trick is length: a phrase of three or four strange words together, like 'cat-moon-pizza-green', beats a short word with symbols. It is long, easy to remember, and hard to guess. Golden rule: a different password for each important site, so if one is discovered, the others stay safe. Do not tell it to friends, not even your best ones, and do not write it where anyone can see it. If remembering them all is hard, ask an adult to use a 'password manager'. And remember: your password is yours, like a toothbrush, you do not lend it.
