AI School › AI and emotions · Lesson 108 of 130
AI is useful and often right, but never a hundred percent right: always check the important things.
There is a healthy way to be with AI, halfway between two extremes. On one side there are those who believe every word it says, as if it were an oracle that never errs. On the other side there are those who think it is all lies and useless. The truth is in the middle: AI is a powerful and often truly useful tool, but it can be wrong, make things up, or just be a bit imprecise. Trusting with your head means using it with pleasure and curiosity, without switching off your brain and without taking every answer as truth carved in stone.
In practice, it works like a calculator or a map: excellent tools, but ones whose result is worth checking now and then. For light things, like inventing a story or playing, you can relax and enjoy. For important things, like a piece of news, a serious task, advice about your health or your money, pause your trust for a moment and verify with a real source or an adult. It is not disrespecting the AI: it is using it like a smart person. The secret is to always keep your hands on the wheel, letting AI be a helper, not the driver.
Pick an AI answer and decide: is it a 'light thing' or an 'important thing to verify'? Then act accordingly.
