🔌 When it is better to switch AI off

Some things work better with the AI off and your brain fully on.

A hammer is fantastic for nails and terrible for petting a cat: every tool has its moments. AI shines when you need an explanation, a starting idea, a double-check. And there are moments when the right choice is to switch it off: when you want to find out if you can do it alone, when you write something personal (a letter, an apology, a note to a friend), when the mistake is exactly what you will learn from.

The most important moment to do without it? Emotions. If you are sad or angry, a chatbot may look like a listening friend, yet a real hug, a parent or a teacher are from another planet. Tools serve people; people deserve people.

🎒 Try it in class (or at home)

Build the class "AI traffic light": green (review, ideas, curiosity), yellow (homework: alone first, then compare), red (personal writing, emotions, tests). Hang it in the classroom.
