🔐 Privacy: what to keep secret

Full name, address, school, photos: your data is a treasure to protect.

When you write to an AI, your words travel to faraway computers and may be stored. Hence one simple rule: AIs get your questions, never your secrets. Full name, address, school name, phone numbers, photos of you or classmates: that treasure stays out of the chat.

The "as if" trick: you can get the same help by speaking in general terms. Instead of "my name is Luca Rossi and I live at 12 Rome Street", just say "a 10-year-old kid". The answer will be the same, your treasure stays safe. And if an app demands data to let you continue, that is the moment to call an adult.

🎒 Try it in class (or at home)

Game "treasure or question?": the teacher reads 10 sentences (e.g. "I live near the park", "how do you train a dog?") and the class raises a TREASURE card (protect it) or QUESTION card (safe to write).

⚠️ Watch out

Golden rule: what you write to an AI could be read by others. Write only what you would say out loud in class.
