AI School › What AI is · Lesson 2 of 130

📱 Where you meet AI every day

It is already around you: recommended videos, translators, cameras, voice assistants.

AI sounds like something from the future, yet you already use it every day. When YouTube recommends your next video, that is an AI that learned what you like. When your phone camera finds faces and focuses on them, that is AI. When you ask a voice assistant something, an AI turns your voice into words and looks for the answer.

The translator you use for English homework, the autocorrect that fixes mistakes while you type, the funny filters in apps: all of this is artificial intelligence. Knowing about it matters for exactly this reason: noticing when it is there, because something you see every day deserves to be understood.

🎒 Try it in class (or at home)

Treasure hunt: over one day, write down every time you think an AI helped you (or chose for you). Compare lists in class: who found the most?
