AI School › Using it well · Lesson 13 of 130

📖 AI as a study buddy

Tailored explanations, endless quizzes and reviews: used well, it is an always-free tutor.

The best thing about AI at school? You can ask it to re-explain something ten times, in ten different ways, and its patience is infinite. "Explain fractions with pizza examples", "give me 5 review questions about the Middle Ages", "correct this summary and tell me what is missing": it is like having a personal tutor always available.

The secret is to use it to understand more, rather than to finish faster. Ask it why things work, have it quiz you, ask for fresh examples. Every time the AI explains something and you can re-explain it in your own words, you have truly learned it. If you can just copy it, you have learned to copy.

🎒 Try it in class (or at home)

Tutor challenge: each student asks the AI to explain the same topic their own way (with football, cooking or videogame examples). Then each re-explains it to the class in their own words.
