The robot is the body, the AI is the brain. They can also exist separately.
In movies, robots and artificial intelligence are the same thing. In reality they are two different things: the robot is a mechanical body (arms, wheels, sensors), the AI is the software "brain" that decides. A robotic arm in a factory can repeat the same movements for years with very little intelligence; a chatbot has lots of language intelligence and zero body.
When the two come together, the most surprising things appear: vacuum cleaners that map your home, cars that park themselves, robots that deliver parcels. And tomorrow, robots helping in hospitals and fields. Understanding the body/brain difference helps you read the news without being dazzled by headlines.
