Copying an answer steals your training. AI is for understanding; the homework is yours.
Let us make a clear deal: having the AI write your essay and handing it in is like being carried through a running race. You might finish first, yet your legs stay weak, and life's race is long. Homework trains your brain: if someone else does it, your brain misses the training.
The smart use is different: try alone first, then use the AI to compare, understand mistakes, and have the blocking step explained. "I solved it this way, where is my mistake?" is a champion's prompt. And when you use AI for schoolwork, say so: honesty with teachers and parents is worth more than a grade.
Roleplay: half the class defends "homework done by AI", half "homework done with AI". A 10-minute debate, then a vote: which student will be stronger in 5 years?
Handing in AI-written text as your own is a lie, and teachers notice more often than you think.
