A good prompt says who the AI should be, what is happening and what you want.
The best prompts have three pieces. First, the role: "you are a patient science teacher". Second, the context: "I am preparing a volcano project for fifth grade". Third, the goal: "give me a 5-point outline with a simple experiment to show". Role, context, goal: with these three, the answer levels up.
It works because it mirrors how you would ask a person for help: you tell the doctor your symptoms and what you need. The beautiful part: practising prompts also trains you to communicate better with anyone: explaining clearly what you want is a skill that pays off in every corner of life.
