🎬 Science fiction vs reality

Movies exaggerate: real AI has no desires or secret plans like the robots on screen.

In movies robots walk, rebel, fall in love and plot against humans. It is spectacular, but it is fiction written to thrill us. Real AI has no cravings, does not get bored, does not dream of conquering the world at night. It is a program that receives data and returns answers, switched off when nobody uses it. Science fiction stories are useful because they make us think about what could go wrong, but they are like fairy tales: they carry a lesson, not a photograph of reality. Mixing the two leads us to fear the wrong dangers and ignore the real ones.

So what are the real dangers? Not an evil robot with red eyes, but quieter things: an AI giving wrong advice confidently, copying human prejudices, or being used to trick people with fake photos. These problems are not loud like a cinema explosion, yet they matter far more in everyday life. Watching films is fun, but truly understanding AI means telling the show apart from the science. Whoever learns this difference becomes harder to fool and better at choosing what to worry about.
