LLM (Large Language Model)

A Large Language Model (LLM) is an AI model trained on enormous amounts of text to understand and generate natural language. The most well-known models, GPT-4 (powering ChatGPT), Google's Gemini, Anthropic's Claude, Mistral, and Meta's Llama, all belong to this category.

Definition

LLMs work through an architecture called the Transformer, which analyzes statistical patterns in training text and learns to predict subsequent words with extreme sophistication. This allows them to perform tasks like writing, translation, summarization, analysis, coding, and much more.

The quality of interaction with an LLM depends decisively on the quality of the prompt provided by the user.
