In the context of prompting, audience is the specification of who will read or use the output produced by the AI. It is one of the most overlooked elements in generic prompts, yet it has an enormous impact on the result: the same content for a technician, a manager, a CEO, and a customer are four completely different texts in terms of register, vocabulary, technical depth, and focus.

Including this information in your prompt completely transforms the quality of the generated output.
