Prompt a Vincoli Multipli
Constraint satisfaction prompting is the technique of formulating a request by specifying multiple conditions the response must simultaneously satisfy — for example maximum length, tone, mandatory elements to include and elements to avoid — forcing the model to balance all requirements together.

The prompt explicitly lists each constraint, often in a numbered or bulleted list, so the model can check them one by one during generation. When constraints are numerous or partially in tension with each other, for example a text that must be both short and exhaustive, the model must find a compromise that satisfies them all as far as possible, and response quality is measured precisely by how many constraints it manages to respect without compromising others.
This technique is common in operational tasks where the output must meet precise requirements imposed by a real context: an advertisement that must stay within a certain character count, include a call to action and follow brand guidelines, or an email that must maintain a formal tone, mention three specific points and stay within a certain word count.
The name echoes the concept of constraint satisfaction, an established idea in computer science and operations research where solutions are sought that simultaneously respect multiple conditions, here applied to writing prompts that must guide the model toward a multi-constrained output.
Il prompt a vincoli multipli e' la tecnica di formulare una richiesta specificando contemporaneamente piu' condizioni che la risposta deve soddisfare simultaneamente — ad esempio lunghezza massima, tono, elementi obbligatori da includere ed elementi da evitare — costringendo il modello a bilanciare tutti i requisiti insieme.
Il prompt elenca in modo esplicito ogni vincolo, spesso in una lista numerata o puntata, cosi' che il modello possa verificarli uno per uno durante la generazione. Quando i vincoli sono numerosi o parzialmente in tensione tra loro, ad esempio un testo che deve essere sia breve sia esaustivo, il modello deve trovare un compromesso che li soddisfi tutti nella misura del possibile, e la qualita' della risposta si misura proprio da quanti vincoli riesce a rispettare senza comprometterne altri.
Questa tecnica e' comune in compiti operativi dove l'output deve rispettare requisiti precisi imposti da un contesto reale: un annuncio pubblicitario che deve stare entro un certo numero di caratteri, includere una call to action e rispettare le linee guida di un brand, oppure un'email che deve mantenere un tono formale, menzionare tre punti specifici e restare entro un certo numero di parole.
Il nome richiama il concetto di soddisfacimento di vincoli, un'idea consolidata nell'informatica e nella ricerca operativa dove si cercano soluzioni che rispettino contemporaneamente piu' condizioni, qui applicata alla scrittura di prompt che devono guidare il modello verso un output multi-vincolato.
