Prompt a Formato Guidato
Format-guided prompting is the technique of specifying in the prompt not only what the model must produce but also the precise structure in which it must organize the response, for example a bulleted list, a table, a defined number of sections, or a specific order of topics to cover.

Unlike an open-ended request, where the model autonomously chooses how to structure the output, here the prompt includes explicit indications about the final form: headings to use, number of paragraphs, presence or absence of lists, approximate length of each section. The model follows these structural indications while generating the content, integrating form and substance in the same pass.
This technique is essential whenever the output must fit into a downstream flow that expects a predictable form: a business report with fixed sections, a response that must fit an email template, or a comparison between options that must necessarily appear as a table to be readable. It reduces the manual reformatting work after generation.
The concept stems from the practical observation that specifying the desired form together with the content produces more usable results than asking for the content first and reformatting it separately afterward, and it has become a standard component of writing effective prompts for operational tasks.
Il prompt a formato guidato e' la tecnica di specificare nel prompt non solo cosa il modello deve produrre ma anche la struttura precisa in cui deve organizzare la risposta, ad esempio un elenco puntato, una tabella, un numero definito di sezioni o un ordine specifico di argomenti da trattare.
A differenza di una richiesta libera, dove il modello sceglie autonomamente come strutturare l'output, qui il prompt include indicazioni esplicite sulla forma finale: intestazioni da usare, numero di paragrafi, presenza o assenza di elenchi, lunghezza approssimativa di ciascuna sezione. Il modello segue queste indicazioni strutturali mentre genera il contenuto, integrando forma e sostanza nello stesso passaggio.
Questa tecnica e' fondamentale ogni volta che l'output deve integrarsi in un flusso successivo che si aspetta una forma prevedibile: un report aziendale con sezioni fisse, una risposta che deve rientrare in un template email, o un confronto tra opzioni che deve necessariamente presentarsi come tabella per essere leggibile. Riduce il lavoro di riformattazione manuale dopo la generazione.
Il concetto nasce dall'osservazione pratica che specificare la forma desiderata insieme al contenuto produce risultati piu' utilizzabili rispetto a chiedere prima il contenuto e poi riformattarlo separatamente, ed e' diventato una componente standard della scrittura di prompt efficaci per compiti operativi.
