LM Studio

LM Studio is a desktop application that lets you download and run open-weight language models on your own computer through a graphical interface, without needing the command line. It offers a built-in catalogue to search and install models, a chat to converse with them and tools to adjust parameters and monitor resource usage. Like other local tools, it can also expose a server compatible with cloud API standards, so external programs can connect to the locally running model. Everything happens on the user's machine, with no data sent outside.
